As we enter into the 100 years of Woolworths Group, and the final year of our Sustainability Plan 2025, we thank our team, suppliers, customers and communities who have partnered with us to progress towards our sustainability ambitions.
Our Sustainability Plan 2025 continues to bring together teams to drive progress across our strategic pillars of People, Planet and Product. We’ve learnt that progress is not always linear with collective action key to solving increasingly interconnected challenges. While we’ve achieved a lot, we know there is much more to do.

We are actively looking to create positive change in our business and in our extended value chain, together with our partners. We see sustainability as an opportunity to create long‑term value for our stakeholders that will deliver benefits for decades to come.
Our Sustainability Plan 2025 is reviewed and adjusted as part of our annual planning cycle to maintain its relevance in a changing world. This document is version 4.0 of our Sustainability Plan 2025, effective August 2024.

Woolworths360 (W360), was established to accelerate the delivery of our environmental sustainability aspirations through our unique capabilities to create solutions for a better planet. W360 knows that these challenges cannot be solved alone, and require partnership and systemwide changes. W360 is working across industry to deliver solutions and shape new markets, to provide solutions that are tailored to each of our business units, while simultaneously identifying solutions which may be scaled to help our suppliers and our partners reach their own sustainability ambitions.
W23 is Woolworths Group’s innovation fund. They invest in startups and scaleups that transform retail and accelerate growth, with a focus on Retail-Tech, ESG and Digital Health.
W23’s investments in innovative ESG startups and scaleups (such as Sonder, All G Foods, Samsara, Great Wrap, Harvest B, Spero Foods) accelerate delivery of several people, planet and product goals and commitments in our Sustainability Plan 2025
healthylife is Woolworths Group’s holistic online health destination, offering health and wellness advice, programs, services and products to help Australians eat well, move well and feel well.
The healthylife Advisory Board draws upon the experience, skills and expert knowledge of a range of health professionals to ensure the information is evidence based with expert insight and guidance to bring the simple trusted way to a healthylife. It contributes to product goal: to materially increase healthier choices in our customers’ baskets.
