Amitabh Mall was appointed Managing Director of eComX in October 2025 where he is responsible for the Group's eCommerce business across Australia and New Zealand. Amitabh is also concurrently the Chief Digital & Analytics Officer where he is responsible for the Group's digital, advanced analytics and AI capabilities. Amitabh joined Woolworths Group in 2021 and has held a number of leadership roles across strategy, transformation and data and analytics.
Prior to joining Woolworths Group, Amitabh was a Senior Partner & Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he most recently led their Consumer and Retail practice in Asia Pacific. In a career spanning 20 years at BCG, Amitabh has worked with some of the leading retailers and consumer companies across Australia, North America and Asia.
Amitabh holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
