Carly Richards was appointed as Chief Risk Officer of Woolworths Group in November 2023. Prior to this, Carly held the role of GM Risk Enablement and Compliance working in partnership to operationalise the Risk Transformation strategy for the Group.
Carly has over 30 years of retail risk experience starting out in stores and progressing through a variety of roles, including Operations, Risk and Finance. Carly has worked for a number of organisations both locally and overseas including Argos, Target Australia and KPMG where she led their Retail Risk practice.
