Friday, 26 February 2021: Tata Consultancy Services, or TCS, has been awarded Technology Partner of the Year for the second year in a row at a virtual awards event hosted by Woolworths Group IT. 

The Woolworths Group IT Awards have been running for three years, recognising and celebrating strong partnerships in the retail technology space. 

Woolworths Group Chief Information Officer, John Hunt said: “We’re pleased to award TCS Partner of the Year for the second year running. 

“Despite the many and varied challenges 2020 threw at us, TCS did not waver and continued to provide exceptional service to our business.

“As a global business, TCS dealt with different and ever-changing challenges across its operations. They went above and beyond to ensure their service remained stable for Woolworths Group through a period of peak demand, and we are very grateful for that.”

TCS are global leaders in IT services, digital, and business solutions, providing extensive application design, development, test and support services to the Group IT organisation.

Eighty20, WorkJam, Fujitsu, NTT, and Wipro were among a small number of partners recognised at the Woolworths Group IT event across technology service and solution categories. 

John Hunt concluded: “We’re pleased to recognise the great IT partnerships we have. These partnerships support us to deliver our huge IT agenda for our team and our customers, and we simply couldn’t do it without them.
