Tuesday 13 January 2026: Get ready to collect, build and play with the return of the popular collectible, Woolworths Bricks, this time as a Home edition, featuring an exclusive cricket twist for the first time ever.
Available from 28 January 2026 at Woolworths and BIG W, customers can build their home together as a family, collecting 40 Bricks of common items people find at home and in their pantry, as well as pets and different family member characters, including a Woolworths Cricket Blast girl, Laura.
Building on the cricket theme, the Woolworths Bricks Home set includes cricket stumps and a recycling bin stump to celebrate Aussie’s love of backyard cricket.
Woolworths Marketing Director - Grocery, Jane Saleh said: “Since their debut in 2021, Woolworths Bricks have become a much loved collectible amongst our customers. The new Home edition rewards our customers as they shop, and gives them the chance to enjoy moments together as a family with a range of Bricks that they can play with to create a home.
“This year we’ve also added in a new cricket twist which brings the spirit of the game off the pitch and into families' homes, further extending our support for Aussie cricket from the grassroots up.”
Woolworths has a longstanding partnership with Cricket Australia and the Woolworths Cricket Blast program that’s designed to engage kids aged up to 10 years old in the sport to help them build skills and confidence. Since Woolworths came on board as a partner almost half a million kids have registered in the program.
Alex Carey, Woolworths’ Ambassador and Australian International Cricketer said: "It’s been amazing to see the impact programs like Woolworths Cricket Blast has in the community. My kids, Louis and Clementine, are right in the thick of it and they’re always excited for their Friday afternoon sessions. Now, they can keep that momentum going at home by building their own cricket scenes with the Woolworths Bricks Home set."
Alana King, Woolworths’ Ambassador and Australian International Cricketer said: “Backyard cricket was the highlight of my childhood. These Woolworths Bricks are a fantastic way to keep that spirit alive at home while encouraging kids to get creative. I especially love that there’s a Cricket Blast girl in the set, seeing that representation is huge for inspiring the next generation of girls to pick up a bat or ball."
